Start-Up Audio Technology Branding That Will Blow Your Mind

The back story

In the late 1990’s Max Sound was a start-up audio technology company based out of Santa Monica, CA. I was brought on to be the Art Director and worked remotely.

As a start-up in the technology space there was a lot for me to do! The company was seeking major investors in the Music and Movie industries. They had big name advisors like Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mack and contemporary Latin star PITBULL.

Working with the President of the Company, the VP of Sales and the Marketing Director, I had to design the logo and branding, the website and marketing materials, sales presentations, as well as the UX for the audio player app.

The branding and sales presentations were called “graphic-rich” and “the best I’ve seen in years” during meetings, and were very empowering to the sales team.

 

The website was intuitive and beautifully designed to entice investors and reflect a cutting edge audio technology company.

 

I was named in the patent for the UX design of the audio player, which was developed for OS and Android.

 

I designed and developed a cross-platform promotional campaign leading up to the Grammy Awards. The campaign included a CD sampler, a digital billboard outside of the Grammys, and designing the opening two-page spread advertisement for the 54th Annual Grammy Award magazine.
